Programmes

The applied science training takes four years. In the third and fourth years you will do work experience for an average of one year and/or you will complete a thesis project. Some of the courses may be abridged if you have had a pre-university or similar education: in that case you may be exempted for a maximum of 1.5 years. The programms with a star behind the name are given in English.

When you graduate you will have gained the international title of Bachelor of Applied Science (B.AS) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng). With your Bachelor diploma you can move on to a Masters at a university. Would you like to find out more about the admission requirements? Click here >>

Environmental Science (for Technology)

Environmental Science (for Technology)

HOW CLEAN IS OUR AIR?

How many toxins are there in fruit and vegetables? How many cars will be fuelled by bio-ethanol in 2010? Environmental experts are occupied with soil, water, air, waste, nature, purification techniques, labour conditions and legislation, among other things.

Environmental experts work at consultancy agencies for example. They carry out soil analysis and clean the soil when necessary or they work for the Municipality. They monitor businesses for the illegal dumping of waste or they work for a company that processes waste.
