WORKING WITH COMPUTERS

Bio-information scientists are needed everywhere that computers are used in the field of bio-sciences.

Most of the proteins coded in the human DNA will be known soon and then bio-information scientists can start to unravel our blueprint and look for the cause of illnesses and possible remedies.

Bio-information scientists are also involved in forensic research (DNA profiles), the selective breeding of plants and research into healthy food. And all of that on the computer!
